Ingredients
10-inch baked ring or Bundt cake
16-ounce can of white frosting
Green food coloring
Malted milk balls
1 large marshmallow
Gummy spearmint leaves
Green candies such as M&M's
White-yogurt-covered pretzels
Crocodile Cake in a SNAP!
1. Cut the Bundt
cake into 3 equal
pieces.
2. Slice one of the
pieces in half at an
angle.
3. Arrange the cake
pieces on a long tray or
serving platter, using one
of the angled halves as a
tail. Cut the other half into
4 equal-size pieces and
set them in place for feet.
Tint the can of white frosting with green food coloring and use it to frost the entire cake. Tip: Mix the coloring and
the icing right in the container.

Cut the large marshmallow in half and place the halves on the cake for eyes. Add 2 malted milk balls on the
snout for nostrils and 2 more on the marshmallow halves for pupils.

Use a dab of frosting to help them stick. Line gummy spearmint leaves and green M&M's along the body for
scales and add spearmint leaf toes to each foot.

Lastly, break the yogurt- covered pretzels into pieces and stick them in the frosting along the front of the cake for
teeth. Now your croc is ready to eat -- or should we say be eaten. The croc cake serves 10 generously.

Easy Cupcake Idea

Instructions

First, frost the top, sides, and bottoms of both a regular-size cupcake and a mini cupcake with white frosting.
For each cupcake, frost the bottom first; then use a fork stuck into the bottom to hold the cupcake while you
frost the rest of it.

Roll the cupcakes in shredded coconut; then, working on waxed paper, set the cupcakes on their sides with the
top of the smaller cupcake stuck to the bottom of the larger one to form the bear's head.

Add 2 horizontal slices from a large white gumdrop for ears, a Junior Mint candy for a nose, and 2 chocolate
chips for eyes. For each cub, frost a mini cupcake and a large gumdrop, then roll them in coconut and arrange
them on their sides as shown. Add 2 horizontal slices from a small white gumdrop for ears, a chocolate chip
nose, and 2 mini chocolate chip eyes.

Plan Your Party

JUNGLE  PARTY DECORATIONS
Create a jungle, using green streamers hung from the ceiling and draped
from the furniture. Place stuffed animals where they can be seen and played with by the young party guests.
When entertaining little ones, be alert to choking hazards. Balloons should be placed out of reach.
Cover your table and set with Animal Jungle plates, napkins and cups.
Use a stuffed monkey, elephant or giraffe for a centerpiece and attach
a bouquet of balloons to the stuffed animal

ANIMAL JUNGLE BIRTHDAY PARTY GAMES AND CRAFTS
Select 2-3 games to entertain the children at your party. Keep you space and the age of the children in mind.

PIN THE TAIL ON THE LION
Play this game just as you would "Pin The Tail on the Donkey".
make a simple lion and tails from poster board. Right before
the party add double stick tape and the children's names to the tails.

SAFARI
Hide several small jungle animal toys or beanie toys around the party area house, yard, garage etc. If you like to
tell stories, start with a story about an adventure?
Then send the kids off to find their wild animals.
They'll keep what they find and add the items to a goodie bag.

"FEED THE MONKEY" BEAN BAG TOSS
Paint a monkey face on a box using one large brown circle
for the head and two smaller circles for the ears. Use a utility knife
(ADULTS ONLY), to cut a large opening where the mouth would be and add the eyes and nose with black paint.
Now make or purchase 3-4 yellow beanbags (bananas). Socks filled with dried beans and secured with rubber
bands will work well.
To play, mark an "X" the floor where the player will stand. Place the "monkey box" a reasonable distance form
the "X" and the children will
take turns feeding the hungry monkey his bananas!

PARTY ART TIME
If the children are old enough, add an art project to your party. Provide paint with water books, play dough with
animal cookie cutters or animal shaped sponges and paint.  Don't forget the art smocks or large T-shirts!

Animal Bites
Make your child's favorite sandwiches. Then transform them into them into animal shapes using cookie cutters.

J
ungle Jigglers
"Jell-O Jigglers" cut with the same cookie cutters as the sandwiches.

Juice from the Jungle
Pour lemon-lime soda into a large punch bowl. Just before serving, add scoops of lime sherbet it turns into green
jungle juice! Or, use soda water mixed with Kiwi Lime Italian syrup - Serve in a clear plastic cup with a cherry or
scoop of lime sherbet.
