| So many of you have been asking about the status of Milagro, the baby Patagonian cavy who was injured by another member of his herd. As you may know, he needed to have his right front leg amputated, no small operation for such a little fellow. We are overjoyed to report that his leg is completely healed and he is thriving in spite of his disability. Since his injury occurred right after birth, Milagro has not known life with four legs. This makes the adjustment much easier for him. In fact, he has become quite skilled at getting around and we expect him to live a long and happy life! |
