We are a licensed 501(c)(3) organization, so your donation is tax deductible. We're one of the largest non-profit, no-kill exotic animal rescues in the United States. Mark Rosenthal’s “Animal Magic” is a non-profit,
501 (C)(3) organization (I.D. # 20-3596003) dedicated to exotic
wildlife conservation and life science education. Now in
our 45th year, Animal Magic has educated and
enlightened audiences across the U.S. Our unique
blend of exotic animals, life sciences and magic have
made us one of the most sought after acts in the country.
We were even voted Nickelodeon's
Entertainer of The Year multiple times!
We are best known for our performances at schools, libraries, festivals, and private events all over the United States. These educational shows help the community appreciate and understand the animal kingdom. Did you know that Animal Magic also comes to the rescue of exotic animals that have been wrongfully kept? We work with numerous Humane Societies and private citizens in the placement of abandoned or seized exotics. Furthermore, when numerous police departments and animal control officers are confronted with an illegal or dangerous exotic, we are frequently called to safely remove the animal from the community and relocate it to a proper forever home at a licensed zoo or educational facility. We have NEVER charged for our assistance in these cases and instead rely on contributions and fundraising to complete our mission.
Through our ever-popular, live performances, we've
shared our knowledge, respect and appreciation for the
animals that share our planet. Educating the public and
promoting conservation are just a couple of the many
ways we show our commitment to the animal kingdom.
When local animal control officers are confronted with a
dangerous exotic, we’re sent in to rescue the often
illegally obtained “pet.” Our fully licensed sanctuary also
accepts all exotic animals (including venomous
snakes) from private citizens. We're dedicated to
helping those who have discovered that owning this type
of “pet” is unfair to the animal, potentially dangerous and
far more difficult than they imagined.
